Bellingham Scores a Brace and Leads England into the Quarter-Final

6 July 2026 – Mexico vs. England 2-3 – Three Goals, a Red Card and Pure Nerve! ⚽🔥

England edge past co-hosts Mexico 3-2 in a wild WM round of 16 and come through a genuine stress test at the Azteca. Jude Bellingham puts the Three Lions ahead with a quickfire double in the 36th and 38th minutes, before Julián Quiñones pulls one back just before half-time. After Jarell Quansah is sent off in the 54th minute, the game tips once more, but Harry Kane soon converts a penalty to make it 3-1. Mexico hit back through a Raúl Jiménez penalty and push hard for the equaliser, but England, down to ten men, throw everything into defending and hold on for the win. With this gutsy performance, England march into the quarter-final against Norway.
